Escape your Ordinary Life and Experience an Exciting Wintery Delight in Finland
Do you know where Santa Lives? Since Childhood, I have always asked myself this question, trying to prove his kindness and love for children to the World. Well, the only destination to witness his presence is in Finland. Finland is the Ultimate Winter Destination that looks like an Adventurous Carnival of magical rides. The dreamy part of the World has it all in Lapland Finland. Whether a teenager, a student, a couple, or a family wants to spend days in Finland, can think of experiencing the wintery delights in one go.
Reindeer sleigh rides, northern lights, top-notch restaurants, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and what’s more? Last December, I went there with my friend who is a Christmas enthusiast just like me. The best time to visit is between December and March, to experience heavy snow and just live your fantasy in Lapland, with a Santa and a big Christmas tree with magical lightning.
How I traveled to Lapland Finland?
The way to Lapland, Finland, is so easy and convenient. We caught our flight to Helsinki, where daily flights operate to/from major cities of the United States, Europe, and Asia. I chose to fly from Seattle to Helsinki with a stopover in New York City. We spent one day in the beautiful city of Lapland to explore about the about Southern Finnish Culture. Moreover, there are more places including, Uspenski, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, etc that we discovered.
The flight options were also available, but we wanted to discover the breathtaking views, Icy Winter roads, and who miss long drives to dream cities? We had our ride by car for the final destination, which took 9 hours 59 minutes to Lapland.
Which Region did I explore?
There are a plethora of municipalities and Towns; I found out in the Lapland region of Finland. Each Region gives a number of activities to relish, endless sights to discover, and premium hotels to stay. Look at some of the famous winter regions and why they are so popular in Finland:

- HUNT FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
I used to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in my books but wondered were they real or not. After seeing them in Finland, Now I know they are real. You can see in Northern Finland, the part of Finland, within the Arctic circle. According to the World, it is also close to the North Pole, a real home of Santa Claus.
Situated between 65 and 72 degrees north, Finnish Lapland is in “Aurora Zone.” The fair chances of experiencing northern lights in Winter only. Catch an Enchanting view of purple, bright green, pink or red, true colors as magical as it sounds in the sky.
