Have a look at Travel Experience blog and plan your trip to most walkable place “Santa Monica”
Santa Monica has always been on my list for California is entirely a dreamy place to be. I have been wanting to visit Santa Monica for so long and I was finally able to make it. Santa Monica is one of the most walkable places in Los Angeles. You’ll find everything from good shopping to calm beaches and beautiful tourist spots to explore and all of them are a 30 minutes drive away from Los Angeles.
Explore The Most Walkable Place And Get the Fantastic Travel Experience
The best part about Santa Monica is you can walk around the city most of the time and can get the amazing Travel Experience here. I am way too satisfied with my Santa Monica getaway as we made all the bookings in advance for flights and hotels so we could be stress-free at the end moment.
We booked our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel as we wanted to stay closer to the beach. You can choose to stay around a different place according to your choice. The weather was quite hot in Santa Monica 38-40 degrees. We headed to explore the place after a few hours of reaching the district.
The first thing I always do on all my trips is exploring the neighborhoods. So I walked around our hotel to look at what we had nearby and met some really friendly and cool people. After that our first stop was the very famous Santa Monica Beach. You can enjoy the sunshine at the beach, sit back and enjoy the sun. Then we took a walk to the famous Santa Monica pier. It has such fun things to do from touristy shopping, food stalls, and music scenes. The views at the Pier are stunning blue waters of the pacific ocean and of course the sea breeze. There’s also a park with Palm trees lined up between the sea and Ocean avenue.
Our next visit was at another famous spot in Santa Monica which was Palisades Park. This offers stunning views around the palm trees over the beach. There are palm trees and Californian palms overhead.
Physical wellness and fitness in Santa Monica
Muscle Beach was our next stop. People in Santa Monica are all fitness freaks and you’ll witness that at Muscle Beach of course. People are usually found running, walking, or working out at the beach. Physical wellness and fitness are a trend and priority of the people here. A lot of fitness trends being followed worldwide started here. It seemed inspiring to be doing some sort of physical activity daily.
Santa Monica is lovely for wandering around the city and to get memorable Travel Experiences. I enjoyed walking around the streets there it was soothing and relaxing. The best way to explore the diverse city of Santa Monica is to walk around. I could not take a walking tour but it is a great one- every Saturday at 10 am there’s a 2-hour walking tour around Santa Monica. It takes people through the beautiful parts of the city including famous architectural sights.
If you are someone like me who is crazy about shopping, you can visit the Third street promenade. You’ll find anything and everything you need here from big brands to little street shops, cafes, and live music on the streets.
Amazing Time in Santa Monica Away From The Crowded Cities
Santa Monica is usually hot and the best way to be prepared is to keep a weather check and pack your stuff accordingly. If you love to enjoy some fitness activities you can also bring your running gear and trainers. Reaching Santa Monica was easy for us as it was just a 30-minute drive from the LAX airport and we directly checked into our hotel in Santa Monica. We planned our trip accordingly to not land around midnight because then we had to stay near the LAX airport and drive to Santa Monica the next morning. To be Organize and Carefree, it is always good to make plans. We had the most amazing time in Santa Monica away from the crowded places and main city bustle.
If you are planning for Budget Travel to take a vacation to Santa Monica anytime soon, you can note down the tips from the blog that might help you with planning your trip or while roaming around the city.
